We hire our stunning 3.5t 2024 build ALX Stallion horsebox from our home and equestrian livery yard DPL Equestrian just outside Old Dalby. We live onsite with our 3 dogs and horses. With having our own animals we know just how precious they are and that is why we want to provide a horsebox hire company that is not PLC but more TLC. We want to make hiring as easy as possible and with the support owners need when transporting their pride and joy. We are always on the end of a phone and although this is a business it means the world to us so be assured of that TLC approach at all time.
Being based just outside Old Dalby we are within easy reach of big equestrian venues like Vale View, Aylesford Cross Country, Newbold Verdon Equestrian Centre, Arena UK the list really does go on. We are not even 1/2 a mile from the main A46 Six Hills junction, so getting to us is really straight forward. We have onsite parking so you can leave your car with us and although this is at your own risk we do have CCTV covering the carpark and many parts of our property.
We will will supply you with a fully insured, taxed, serviced horse box. Between hires the box is disinfected (it is the hirers responsibility to return it clean and washed out), and the outside and the cab are regularly cleaned. The horse box has breakdown cover to ensure you and your horses are recovered in the event of an accident or breakdown. We also offer full EU hire service, although breakdown cover is required by the hirer for the abroad travel. We believe in an easy, hassle free hire process.
Where possible we allow early collections and drop off within reason, Kate and I live onsite and 9 times out of 10 we either always have someone on site or the keys can be left in a secure location for collection or drop off.

The 2021 build 3.5t ALX Stallion horse box offers around 1 tonne of payload with a full tank of fuel, and is built to the highest standards, with a focus on safety. The horse area is fully enclosed with no breast bar and a sniffer board to ease separation of horses. The one piece composite floor has an anti slip coating and draining holes. A totally new and innovative captive aluminium sill section encases the floor, walls and chassis to give total strength. The cab offers a comfortable journey for human passengers with air conditioning, cruise control, and a camera allowing you to view the horse area. The bulkhead is strength tested for passenger safety. Easy access to the living area, which includes a small storage seat plus space to hang clothing and tack. There will be no hay in your picnic thanks to having a fully enclosed living area. The ramp is light and easy to close.
